Cook Suma Bonito and the Japanese Traditional Trolling Rig

Background of the trip

I took one of my fishing friends on Amadai(Tilefish) fishing in return for guiding me to catch some suma bonito. Suma bonito is the most delicious type of bonito and the target I’ve wanted for a long time, because there hasn’t been any bonito migrating in our home water. But this year I started to hear about some people catching them around Awaji Island and I was so curious about that. Then finally one of my friends spotted out the route of bonito and took me catch them. In this video, I’m introducing the rig that we used for suma bonito. This is effective when their bait is tiny, like less than 5cm.
