Cooked Whole Japanese Black Snapper on Grill

On our early December trip, we caught various fish and I cooked one of the fish, black snapper this time. This fish doesn’t tastes best for Sashimi so I grilled it.

Ingredients

Salt, Garlic, Scallion, Parsley, Oregano, Flour, Soy sauce, Butter, Yuzu(Japanese Citrus)

Steps

  1. Prep the fish – Remove gills and guts and scale it and wash.
  2. Add flavors – Score the skin and rub salt, herbs and flour.
  3. Fry it – Brown the skin to make it crispy.
  4. Grill it – Grill it in oven for 15 mins.
  5. Sauce – Heat olive oil and put in Garlic, Scallion, Butter, Soy sauce and Yuzu(Japanese Citrus).
  6. Mix – Take out the grilled fish and mix with sauce.
